Active Members

Active Members shall be those individuals in public practice who are able to meet any of the following requirements: 1) are enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service; 2) possess an Associate, Baccalaureate or higher degree with a minimum of twenty-four (24) semester hours in accounting and/or finance-related coursework; 3) are Accredited in Accountancy and/or Taxation; 4) are a Certified Financial Planner, 5) are a Certified Public Accountant, or 6) have owned and operated an accounting and/or tax practice for a minimum of three (3) years.

Associate Members

Associate Members shall be those individuals who are employed on a full time basis by a sponsor who is an Active Member in good standing in this Association. Application for this status must be verified with the Active Member name.

Education Members

Education members shall be those out-of-state (Non-Michigan) practitioners who seek to participate in MTAP CPE programs. The membership allows the individual to register for MTAP CPE events at education member rates, receive MTAP communications, and enjoy member discounts with our vendor partners. This membership IS NOT available to practitioners living and/or working in the State of Michigan.

Annual Dues: $50.00
